Getting your home onto the market may be more challenging than usual in this period especially as there should be no visitors to your home.
You can speak us over the phone and we will be able to give you general advice about the local property market and handle certain matters remotely - but we are not able to start actively marketing you home in the usual manner.
- If you are thinking about selling, you can use this time to start gathering together all the information you will need to provide to a potential purchaser. Such as documentation relating to your last boiler service, FENSA certificates for the replacement windows, damp or timber guarantee’s etc.
- Take the time to de-clutter and do odd jobs around your home - no more excuses of not having the time! Touch up paint work, reseal silicone around your bath or shower – make every room look as fresh and inviting as possible.
- The government advice is to stay at home and away from other people, therefore you should not be inviting people into your home, such as photographers, energy performance advisors or estate agents. However you could take photographs and or videos and forward them to us to enable us to start setting up your property file.
Should you need any advice or guidance then please do not hesitate to contact the office – we are here to help.
